After completing his dental education, At Alfonso X el Sabio in Madrid Spain in 2001, Dr Cano was appointed as a part-time profesor and began working as a general dentist in Madrid, Spain. He then completed his Masters and certificate in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry and from the University of Seville in 2009. At the same time, he was granted the opportunity to serve as a part-time instructor for the University of Seville, while he was managing challenging complex cases in his private practice.

His thirst for knowledge, brought him to Boston MA, where he earned certificate program in Esthetics and Operative Dentistry from Tufts University in 2013. This program allowed him to further improve his clinical skills, diagnosis and treatment planning, and gave him the ability to approach even more complex cases from a restorative point of view.

He then began his studies as an International Team of Implantology (ITI) Scholar at Tufts Universitt, where he furthered his training in implant dentistry and related treatments. Shortly after the completion of his studies in 2014, he was appointed as an instructor in the Departments of Periodontology and Postgraduate Prosthodontics at that same institution.

Dr Cano returned to Spain and worked for Straumann Inc. as a consultant and instructor, focusing on educating Dental Labs and Key accounts in how to implement digital workflows for implant planning.

Since 2017, moved to California where he works as a consultant for all type of surgical and prosthetics cases.
