Ausenda

Dr Federico Ausenda obtained his DDS degree from University of Florence, Italy in 2013.

He then moved to Boston to study Periodontology at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where in 2016 he obtained his Certificate of Advanced Education in Periodontology and Implantology and his Master of Science in Dental Research.

Dr Ausenda is the 2016, American Academy of Periodontology (AAP) Foundation winner of the “Dr. and Mrs. Gerald M. Kramer award for excellence”, an award that the AAP Foundation gives to the best resident from all Periodontology graduate schools in the United States.

In 2017 he successfully challenged the American Board of Periodontology and he obtained his Board Certification.

He than proceeded to attend a one year program as ITI Scholar at the Eastman Dental Hospital in Rome.

He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Milan and he maintains a position as Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston.

Dr Ausenda is an ITI Fellow, a ABP Board Certified Periodontist, a Certified Member of the Italian Society of Periodontology and Implantology and an Active Member of the Florence Perio Group.

He lectures extensively nationally and internationally and is the author of several peer review articles.

Since 2017, he practices Periodontology and Implant Dentistry with his wife Catherine (Tufts trained Prosthodontist) in their private practice in the Milan area
