Dr. Gonzalo Blasi is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

Dr. Blasi graduated from dental school and later earned a Ph.D. degree from the International University of Catalonia (UIC).. Omar Núñez was born and raised in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

He further enhanced his expertise by obtaining a certificate in periodontology and implant dentistry along with a Master of Science in oral biology from the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Dentistry (UMB).

Dr. Blasi continued his postgraduate education at UMB as a Fellow in the Implant Prosthodontics Program. His academic work was recognized in 2016 when he received the prestigious Richard Lazzara Fellowship Award from the American Academy of Periodontology Foundation.

Currently, Dr. Blasi serves as a visiting professor in the Department of Periodontics at UMB and as a program co-director at UIC. He maintains a private practice in Barcelona at BLASI Dental Clinic.
